A DRUG dealer has been jailed after supplying heroin and crack cocaine across Lichfield and Burntwood.
Mohammed Rahman, 41 and of Walsall, was sentenced to five years and six months at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court.
He had admitted:
- Three counts of being concerned in the supply of heroin
- Two counts of being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine
- One count of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A heroin,
- One count of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A crack cocaine.
Officers estimate that around £50,000-worth of heroin and crack cocaine has been taken off the streets as a result.
Rahman was arrested in September last year after officers discovered he had been running a drugs line selling across Lichfield, Burntwood, Cannock and Rugeley.
He had already been arrested and released under investigation previously for drug supply offences where officers had seized large amounts of crack and heroin.
