Staffordshire health chiefs are urging people to get vaccinated and enjoy a safe Platinum Jubilee.
A special extended Bank Holiday weekend from 2nd to 5th June will see communities coming together to mark the Royal milestone.
Cllr Paul Northcott, cabinet support member for public health at Staffordshire County Council, said it was important people were “careful and considerate” when making plans.
“We are all looking forward to the extended Bank Holiday weekend, but it is important to remember that Covid-19 is still with us, so we must continue to do everything we can to keep elderly and vulnerable relatives safe, especially when attending any of the brilliant celebration events taking place across the county.
“If you need to get a vaccine or booster, you can book an appointment or attend one of the county’s walk-in clinics as soon as possible.
“That way, you can be sure to have a fantastic and safe Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend.”
