A Burntwood church has been showing off its new altar frontal for the first time.
It was dedicated by the Rev Marg Mattocks at Christ Church yesterday (May 12).
Designed by Barbara Marshall and put together by members of the Embroidery for Burntwood Community group, the altar cloth features a background of green velvet, with several crosses covered with gold beads, sequins and braids.
The creators have now produced seven pieces of work which are on show at venues across the town.
