A LICHFIELD coffee shop is stepping into 2026 by serving up a double helping of free valuations.
The Auction Café by Richard Winterton Auctioneers is offering the appraisals of watches, gold and silver with Midlands gemmologist Georgina Southam between 9.30am and 3pm on 6th and 7th January.
She will also be at the Market Street venue on 13th, 20th and 27th January.
Different specialists will offer valuations at the café during the month, with Richard Winterton looking at general antiques and collectables from 9.30am to 12.30pm on 17th January, while David Fergus will be evaluating antiques – with a special focus on glass, ceramics, decorative art, paintings and pictures – between 9.30am to 12.30pm on 21st January.
On 29th January, Phil Ives will be at the cafe for a special valuation event focusing on stamps and postal history from 9.30am and 3pm.
