Scouts in Lichfield have been pitting their wits in a Dragons Den-style contest.Lichfield Round Table’s ‘dragons’ were on hand to listen to the business ideas from members of the Lichfield Explorer Scouts
Each group made a presentation within a time limit before offering their advice and grilling the youngsters on their plans.
Stuart Clark, chairman of Lichfield Round Table said: “We ran this event with the Explorers last year and it was a great success with everyone having a lot of fun and also learning a lot in the process – this year certainly hasn’t disappointed!
“I would like to congratulate all the Explorers who took part as it can be quite daunting standing up in front of some of these guys, especially once one of them gets a bee in his bonnet about misunderstanding of costs etc. We are certainly looking forward to being invited back next year.”
The winning idea was a mobile phone translation tool app.
