THE family of a “beautiful young boy” have paid tribute to him after he died on the A38 at Lichfield.
Isaac Radbourne, aged 7, went on to the northbound carriageway at Swinfen on Saturday (7th March), having got out of his house despite security measures being in place.
He was then involved in a collision with two vehicles – a blue Vauxhall Mokka and a white Mercedes at around 5am.
In a statement, his family said:
“Isaac was a beautiful loving young boy who will be sorely missed by his parents, grandparents, great grandparents and wider family.”
Specialist officers from Staffordshire Police have been supporting Isaac’s family while investigations continue.
A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said:
“The drivers of both vehicles stayed at the scene following the collision and continue to support collision investigators with their enquiries.
“We understand the impact of this incident on the local community and the social media speculation that has followed. We ask that Isaac’s family are given the space and privacy needed to grieve during this unprecedented time.”
