Family pay tribute to man killed in A5 crash

The family of a man who died in a crash on the A5 at Mile Oak have described him as “an amazing husband and father”.

The family of a man who died in a crash on the A5 at Mile Oak have described him as “an amazing husband and father”.

David May from Sutton Coldfield was driving a black Volkswagen Up when it was involved in a collision with a white Scania HGV, a white Ford Fiesta and other vehicles at 5.20pm on 24th May.

The family of the 76-year-old said:

“David was an amazing husband and father.

“He was a great family man who always made time for people and was liked by all – he will be missed.”

Witnesses to the crash are asked to call police on 101, quoting incident 520 of 24th May.
