A PLAN setting out how Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service will keep communities safe is being rolled out.
The four-year Community Risk Management Plan (CRMP) will be implemented from 1st January.
Shaped following a 12-week consultation, the document focuses on three main themes – people, communities and environment.
Chief Fire Officer Rob Barber said:
“We’re really pleased that so many people took the time to give us their views as part of the consultation. We’ve taken these comments on board and used them to shape this final plan.
“We have a vision of making Staffordshire the safest place to be and the input we have received is helping us to work towards that vision.
“The priorities of our people, our communities and our environment neatly capture what is important to us.
“Our people are our most valuable asset. The community is at the heart of everything we do. The environment is an emerging issue both in the terms of the increasing number of weather-driven incidents we are attending and also the changes we need to, and are making, to reduce our carbon footprint.”
