A new project is offering free aqua aerobics for young women in Burntwood.
The Us Girls scheme has allowed Lichfield District Council’s Positive Futures team to run the sessions for women aged 14 to 25 every Wednesday from 8pm at Burntwood Leisure Centre.
The initiative aims to get 30,000 people more active by providing fitness and sport opportunities.
Jenni Williams, from Positive Futures, said: “We’re really pleased to be part of the Us Girls campaign and we hope lots of young women will take advantage of the free aqua aerobics classes.”
