Visitors will be able to explore the beauty of Chasewater Country Park when a series of monthly guided walks takes place.
Park rangers will leading the walks which take place on the second Sunday of every month, starting on July 10 at 11am.
The free rambles are a chance to see different parts of the country park and will allow participants to discover more about the site’s varying landscapes, plants, trees, wildlife and history.
Ranger James Myers said:
“We want to help visitors to explore Chasewater, and so we’re launching free monthly guided walks this July. They are a good opportunity to tell people a bit more about the habitat and history of the site.
“The walks are suitable for all ages and dogs on leads are welcome too. If you want to come along, just meet us outside the rangers’ office, which is next to the Innovation Centre, at 11am on July 10. We’d recommend wearing walking boots and bringing a drink, although we will be stopping at a local café on the way.”
