Would-be ballerinas are being given the chance to pull on their dancing shoes and take part in a free taster class in Lichfield.

The Angelina Ballerina Dance Academy is aimed at children aged three to six and is based on the stories of the animated TV favourite.

The free taster session will take place at Lichfield Library from 1pm to 2.30pm on October 27 as part of the launch of the dance academy across the UK.

“We are excited to be launching this unique dance programme because it will introduce a new generation of youngsters to the vast artistic opportunities available right here on their doorstep,” says Angelina Ballerina Dance Academy CEO Donna Daly Blyth. “We hope to inspire young children to learn and grow through the fully interactive world and positive values of Angelina Ballerina.”

The half-hour classes introduce youngsters to the early movements in ballet, jazz and musical theatre, but also focus on socialisation skills, positive values and classroom behaviours through the stories of Angelina Ballerina and her friends.
