A collection of football contracts signed by former England goalkeeper Gordon Banks have sold in Lichfield for £8,900.
The items covering his period at Leicester City and Stoke City were split into two lots and exceeded the £5,000 estimate when they went under the hammer at Richard Winterton Auctioneers.
They included one signed by the goalkeeper in 1964 which ran through until June 1966, the year Banks helped England win the World Cup.
