A LOCAL group has been boosted by a £500 grant.
The Whittington and Fisherwick Good Neighbour Scheme was given the money by the Asda Foundation's Better Together Fund.
The organisation was founded ten years ago and supports the elderly and those living alone in the local area by providing transport for medical appointments, home visits, shopping collection and organising social events.
