LICHFIELD City's first home game with new bosses Nic Oakley and Simon Lyons at the helm ended in a narrow defeat against Clitheroe.
Fans at the Tyre Trade Community Stadium saw the pair looking to build on their 3-0 away win against Wythenshawe.

City started the game the brighter of the two sides as they kept possession mainly in the attacking half with Luke Childs working hard down the left. Owen Watkins became a focal point for the City attacks, but he received a lot of attention from the visiting midfield.
Fourteen minutes in, there was a penalty shout for Lichfield which was waved away by referee Henry Gregory.
The game continued to be end-to-end until just after the half-hour mark when City's new goalkeeper Brandon Bache was called into action to make a great save from a shot from Demi Rhami.
Moments later, the visitors went one up though as Harry Scarborough’s strike from distance beat Bache.
Rhami had another effort for Clitheroe, but he hit the post. It was only to be a temporary reprieve for the hosts though, as Scarborough got his second of the match just seconds before the break.
Clitheroe looked to kill off the game early in the second period as they dominated possession after the restart.
But City did find a route back into things when substitute Charlie Shaw netted after a great pass from Watkins picked him out.
The home side went in search of a leveller, with Loyiso Recci's header landing straight into the hands of Liam Isherworth.
A late penalty shout was also waved away after skipper Tom Brown was brought down in the box.
