Police say no suspicious circumstances surrounding death of man at Stowe Pool

POLICE say they do not believe there were any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of a man in Lichfield.

Officers were called to Stowe Pool at 7.15am today (9th October) after reports of a sudden death.

A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said:

"Officers attended along with colleagues from West Midlands Ambulance Service.

"Sadly, a man was pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene.

"Our inquiries are ongoing to understand the circumstances of the death, but currently, we do not believe there to be any suspicious circumstances."
