POLICE say a group of teenagers have been moved on after reports of anti-social behaviour in Burntwood.

Officers were called to Pool Lane at 12.50pm today (25th June) following calls relating to a group of nine youngsters climbing on a building and jumping into Chasewater.

A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said:

"We are reminding parents and young people of the importance of staying safe in open spaces and to not enter any body of water

"While open water may seem inviting during these hot temperatures, they often have hidden currents, and are much colder than you think, making it difficult to swim."
