Clubs, societies and voluntary groups in Lichfield could be in line for a grant.
Lichfield City Council is opening its grant scheme for 2015/16 and wants to hear about organisations operating to help people living within the city boundary.
“We are very fortunate to have a wide range of local clubs and societies in the city which support the needs and interests of our citizens,” said council leader Terry Finn. “Grants provided can support an organisation’s general funding, or provide help with some special project.”
Organisations helped in the past have included youth groups, sports clubs, arts groups, charitable bodies and various other societies and event organisers. Grants totalling over £25,000 were awarded this year.
Application forms are available by emailing Lichfield City Council. Completed forms must be returned by January 9, 2015.
