Burntwood is set to get a visit from the judges of the Heart of England in Bloom competition.
The Town Council has entered the area into the contest for the third time.
Judges will visit Burntwood on July 15 and councillors are hoping local people will help make an impression.
A spokesperson said: “It is hoped that everyone will do their bit to ensure that the town looks its best for the judges.
“Hopes are high that the Burntwood entry will match, or even exceed last year’s Silver Gilt Award.”
