Lichfield residents are being reminded that they could get help with heating and insulation for their homes.
The npower Health Through Warmth scheme aims to help people whose health is made worse by cold and damp living conditions.
The initiative launched in the city in 2002, and has so far received more than 2,100 requests to help vulnerable residents access heating and insulation measures.
Scheme co-ordinator Roisin Burns said:
“Cold and damp related illnesses can affect people all year round, so we would like to remind local residents in Lichfield that the scheme is here to help.
“Residents who may be eligible for help include people with respiratory and cardiovascular disorders, diabetes, arthritis, a terminal illness, mental health issues, mobility difficulties and patients waiting to be discharged from hospital.”
