Homes across Lichfield and Burntwood could be warmer this winter thanks to a new grants scheme.
Free or discounted insultation is likely to be offered following a government consultation.
Lichfield District Council is urging residents to register their interest ahead of time thought the Warmer Homes, Greener District energy advice service.
Councillor Colin Greatorex said: “Insulating your home is a simple way to bring your energy bills down and to be more environmentally friendly.
“To make sure you chose the right installer, we suggest registering your interest so we can help make sure you get a certified installer.”
