The latest phase of a consultation over the future of housing provision in Lichfield and Burntwood is being launched.
Lichfield District Council is now looking for information from those with learning disabilities and mental health issues.
The local authority had previously sought views from older residents.
The questions on the latest consultation include information on where residents live, what type of home they would like to live in in the future, what adaptations they might need, and if they would like to live with other people.
Councillor Ashley Yeates, Cabinet member for communities and housing, said: “In planning for the future housing across the district, it’s important that we know what kind of housing and support our residents need if they have a learning disability or mental health issues.
“I hope we get plenty of responses to our survey.”
The housing needs survey can be completed at www.lichfielddc.gov.uk/housingneeds until 18th November. The Housing in Later Life questionnaire for people aged over 60 is also online at www.lichfielddc.gov.uk/housinginlaterlife.
The council is also urging anyone who works for an organisation that engages with people with learning disabilities or mental health issues to get involved in the consultation by emailing j.martel@housinglin.org.uk.
