Nearly 300 Lichfield shoppers got creative at a series of free futuristic art activities.

As part of this year’s Big Draw, Lichfield District Council and Untitled Art Collective joined forces to offer a day of free events at the Three Spires Shopping Centre.

The workshops were based on the futuristic theme of Draw Tomorrow. Participants were asked to imagine what the future might look like, from the people and clothes, through to the cityscape.

Among the creations were a large group collage, sculptural pieces made with silver foil and wire and building a life size super hero.

Councillor Val Richards said: “This day of art was a fantastic opportunity for visitors to Lichfield to try out the activities for free, and we’re delighted so many people took part.”
