Teams had created their unpowered vehicles from scratch for the day.

Winning designs were chosen in a number of categories, with the overall winner’s trophy going to Team Helmets. Other victors were:

  • Speed demons: Wolf Pack
  • Best dressed kart: Burntwood Road Sweepers
  • Best crash: Rawlings Tyres

Kevin Wilson, of organisers KP Events, said: “The weather wasn’t great, but the crowds were brilliant.

“The teams really joined in the fun and gave them some brilliant action and, above all, everyone involved really bought into what we were trying to do – provide free entertainment on a summer afternoon in Burntwood.”
