POLICE are trying to track down four people after an attempt to steal a motorbike in Lichfield city centre.
The incident happened at 1.30pm yesterday (15th September) at Frog Lane.
Four individuals on two mopeds – one red and one blue – were involved.
A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said:
"The offenders were disturbed by members of the public while brandishing a hammer and making threats."
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101, quoting incident 401 of 15th September.
