A LICHFIELD Irish dancer is celebrating after landing a national championship.
Heidi Hawkes took on competitors from across the UK in the Scottish National Oireachtas in Glasgow.
After three rounds of dancing, the 18-year-old took top spot to be crowned champion.
Heidi, who dances for the Glendarragh Academy of Irish Dance, will now head across the Atlantic as she prepares to compete in the North American National Championships in Florida next week.
