Jazz and Funk Roadshow heading to Burntwood for concert

A blend of jazz, funk pop and blues will be served up by local musicians at a concert in Burntwood.

A BLEND of jazz, funk pop and blues will be served up by local musicians at a concert in Burntwood.

St Anne's Church will welcome the Jazz and Funk Roadshow on 6th July.

Led by jazz trumpeter and guitarist Nick Dewhurst and featuring his six-piece band, the show will feature music by the likes of The Average White Band, The Crusaders, Herbie Hancock, Moloko, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Steely Dan, Stevie Wonder, Weather Report and Wes Montgomery, along with a selection of originals too.

A spokesperson said:

"With past performances at top venues and festivals, and a recent tour in Germany, The Nick Dewhurst Band is known for its exceptional musicianship, exciting arrangements and feel-good performances."

Tickets are £15 and can be booked online.
