Lichfield’s Farmers’ Market will be in the spotlight once more when BBC Radio WM presenter Joanne Malin brings her show to the city.
The show follows in the wake of the Hairy Bikers’ visit earlier in the month.
The Mornings with Joanne Malin show will be broadcast live from the historic Market Square between 9.30 am and 12 noon on August 6.
Joanne will be talking to various representatives from many of Lichfield’s historic sites and tourist attractions as well as to a number of producers from the Farmers’ Market.
People are invited to visit the Square, take a look at what’s on offer on the Farmers’ Market and have a chat with Joanne or be in the background and watch as she broadcasts her live radio show. Alternatively, you can tune in to BBC WM on 95.6FM and enjoy the show.
Heather Francis from Wild Roots (organiser of outdoor children’s parties and earthy craft workshops) will also be on site offering an exciting ‘hands on’ drop in craft workshop for both children and families with the opportunity to decorate, and purchase, a hand-made children’s play size tepee.
