AN initiative supporting local carers has been given a boost by the operators of the M6 Toll.
A laptop has been donated to Grace Cares' Care Club by Midland Expressway Ltd.
The initiative is designed to help reduce isolation and provide support for those caring for others before they reach crisis point.
Regular sessions take place in person and online, offering a chance for people to connect, share experiences and access expert guidance.
Grace Cares said the new laptop would help continue delivery of online workshops and events.
Hannah Montgomery, from Grace Cares, added:
"Having reliable kit to run our Care Club sessions makes a real difference to the unpaid caregivers we support.
"Care Club is all about making sure people have somewhere to turn before things get tough and know they have someone in their corner.
"As an organisation built on sustainability and circular economy, we love that M6 Toll chose to donate a pre-loved laptop rather than let it go to waste."
Jo Brett, external communications assistant at Midland Expressway Ltd, said:
