PRIDE is being celebrated at a Lichfield city centre venue.
The Hub at St Mary's is showcasing a selection of photographs from last year's event.
It comes after bosses at Staffordshire County Council banned Lichfield Library – which shares the former church building with The Hub – from showcasing Pride displays.
A spokesperson for the venue said:
"A little burst of Pride has landed at The Hub.
"While we wait for our next big exhibition install, we’ve put together a temporary mini exhibition featuring brilliant shots from last year’s Pride parade, captured by Douglas Armour.
"We’re counting down to Lichfield Pride next month and can’t wait to celebrate, support and stand alongside our LGBTQ+ community once again."
The Hub is also launching an appeal for books to help showcase LGBTQ+ authors and topics.
"We're collecting LGBTQ+ books to help create a free community giveaway, making stories, support and representation more accessible to those who need them.
"Every book has the power to help someone feel seen, understood and a little less alone. If you can spare one, we'd be incredibly grateful."
Donations can be dropped off at The Hub at St Mary's until 4th July.
