Motorcyclists from across Lichfield and Burntwood are being invited to join the Ride to the Wall.
The annual event sees bikers from across the country head for the National Memorial Arboretum at Alrewas on Saturday (October 5).
This year will once again see the use of a none motorway route for riders who prefer a more relaxed pace.
Bikers are asked to meet at Wolsley Bridge Garden Centre for a 9.50am start.
“We urge all locals to show their appreciation and support for the motorcyclists attending the ride by giving them a wave as they travel the route – but be sure to have cameras at the ready as it’s a spectacle not to be missed,” a Ride to the Wall spokesman said.
The event has grown every year and has so far raised £218,000 for the National Memorial Arboretum – an effort which saw volunteers receive the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Contributions earlier this year.
