People living in Lichfield and Burntwood are being asked to help the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity win vital funding.
The organisation has applied for the NatWest Community Force Grant, with the three projects receiving the most votes in each area winning a £6,000 grant.
Midlands Air Ambulance is responsible for funding and operating three helicopters and needs £6 million pounds every year to run the service. The charity receives no government or national lottery funding and responds to ten missions a day.
A spokesperson said: “Relying solely on the generosity of the public to operate, the charity would use the Community Force award to help continue to fund vital missions and to continue to save lives across the six counties we cover.”
People can cast their vote on the Community Force website until October 23.
