Bellringers at Lichfield Cathedral will are set to mark the Diamond Jubilee of the Coronation of The Queen.
They will also be raising money for the Cathedral’s East End Appeal when they ring a full peal on Saturday (July 20).
A spokesperson said: “A full peal is not often rung as it takes over three hours and has at least 5,000 changes, so this is a real challenge for the band of bellringers.
“The Cathedral’s bells are amongst the finest in the world so this will really be worth listening to!”
The peal will start at 1.30pm and is expected to finish at about 5.15pm.
