Lichfield Cathedral will be transformed for two days in the build up to Christmas.
Festive projections will be beamed on to the west front as part of A Cathedral Illuminated.
The work is the brainchild of artist Peter Walker, working alongside composer David Harper.
“We are delighted to be able to bring this projection work to Lichfield and to the stunning façade of the Cathedral,” Peter said. “The event comes at the start of what will be a new programme of work through my residency at Lichfield Cathedral where there will be many exhibitions and such events.
“It is also the start of a new ongoing programme of projection and sound events around the area which we are developing for the coming years.”
The Cathedral will be lit up between 5pm and 9pm on December 21 and 22.
