THE “creativity and community spirit” at a Lichfield charity shop has been celebrated.
The Salvation Army launched a Christmas window display competition at its outlets across the UK.
The Lichfield Donation Centre, on Eastern Avenue, won top spot in the national contest after initially being named regional winner for a Santa’s Grotto display.
Manager Diane Sedgeley said:
“The customers have absolutely loved it – we’ve had people say they can’t help but look at it as they walk past.
“The children have also loved it, which is just lovely.”
