Lichfield City FC ended a run of five games without a victory with a 3-0 win at Pilkington XXX.
Gary Birch’s men were quick out of the blocks with Tom Evans firing an early effirt wide.
The breakthrough eventually came when Mark Rose netted.
Lee Osborne then went close, but was not denied for a second time as he doubled Lichfield’s lead going into half-time.
Osborne went close to his second with a header just over from a Joe Haines cross, before Rose also saw an effort clear the bar.
City were firmly in control during the second period and got their reward when Rose created a chance for Osborne to wrap up the scoring and the points.
And Osborne’s evening got better in the second period when he netted his second and City’s third after a cross from Joe Haines
Lichfield’s final league game of the season is at Alvis Sporting on Saturday (May 2).
