Lichfield City FC are set to make history with an appearance in the FA Cup.
Paul Holt’s men will make their debut in the national competition with a trip to Black Country Rangers on August 16.
And the manager admits it will be a proud moment for everyone associated with the club.
“It’s a massive boost for the club and testament to the hard work the committee has put in in the last six years,” he said.
“I also include previous managers Russell Dodd and Dean Gilbert In that appraisal. They have helped build the platform that has enabled us to tick another goal off our list.”
Lichfield City FC will play in Division One of the new Midland Football League this season.
