Paul Holt will be hoping his Lichfield City FC side can banish their cup woes when they return to knockout competition this weekend.
They entertain Uttoxeter Town in the Staffordshire Vase on Saturday (October 12).
Midland Combination Premier Divsion side City will be firm favourites against the Staffordshire County Senior League outfit, but they will need to banish memories of their league cup loss against Pershore Town last time out.
Lichfield were comfortably beaten after a dismal first half saw them concede three goals.
And Uttoxeter will hope to upset the Brownsfield Park side and build on an impressive start to their league campaign which has seen them lose only once and net 43 times in just 11 games. They will also be hoping Lichfield can’t break their ten game unbeaten streak.
Kick-off at Brownsfield Park is at 3pm.
