Dean Gilbert is hoping that his Lichfield City FC side can record a third consecutive victory when they entertain Enville Athletic in the Midland Combination Second Division.
City go into the game on Saturday (October 31) on the back of consecutive 3-0 victories over Feckenham in the Jack Mould Trophy and league respectively and Gilbert believes his side have found their feet after gaining promotion last term.
The Lichfield manager explained:
“We had a mixed start but we seem to have found a bit of form, so long may it continue. It took a little while to adjust to this division but we have set a standard now.
“Enville are a well organised side and I have known their manager Barry Reynolds for a long time. However, after the way we have played in recent weeks, I will be expecting us to come away with the three points.”
