All eyes will be on the cup for Lichfield City FC as they look to build a second front for their season.
Paul Holt’s have picked themselves up after an under-par start to their campaign and find themselves eighth in the Midland Combination Premier Divsion.
But they will get another chance to put down a marker for their season on Saturday (October 5) as they take on Pershore Town in the Les James Challenge Cup.
And with their opponents sitting just one place below them on goal difference in the table, the cup encounter is certain to provide Lichfield with another stern test.
Kick-off at Brownsfield Park is at 3pm.
