Lichfield City FC failed to rediscover their winning touch as they went down 2-1 to Littleton.
The Brownsfield Park side – who parted company with their management team last week – have now gone three league games without picking up a point.
They found themselves 2-0 down inside the first half before a second half strike from Dean Withers reduced the deficit, but City couldn’t find an equaliser.
Lichfield will hope for better luck tonight (October 1) when they entertain Boldmere St Michaels in the Walsall Senior Cup. Kick-off at Brownsfield Park is at 7.45pm.
