Lichfield City FC’s FA Vase campaign came to an end after they lost 2-0 at Aston.
The Brownsfield Park side were sunk by two goals from Joseph Lavill.
City will get another chance to enjoy knockout joy on Saturday (October 11) when they entertain Kidsgrove Athletic Reserves in the Staffordshire Vase.
