Lichfield City FC resume their quest for a top six berth as they return to league action this weekend.
Paul Holt’s men booked a semi-final cup sport with a win over West Midlands Regional League high-fliers Sporting Khalsa last time out.
But the City boss will be desperate for his charges to ensure their league form doesn’t slip when they entertain Coventry Copsewood on Saturday (January 18).
Victory could move Lichfield level on points with sixth placed Littleton, while their opponents – who currently lie 13th in the Midland Football Combination Premier Divsion – will be desperate for the points to move themselves away from the battle at the wrong end of the table.
Kick-off at Brownsfield Park is at 3pm.
