A dance school in the city is holding an open session for people interested in joining.
The Lichfield Dance Academy holds regular lessons in tap, jazz, modern, ballet and theatrecraft at on Thursdays in term time at King Edward VI Leisure Centre:
- Primary classes, which introduce boys and girls over the age of four to dance, run from 4pm to 5pm.
- Junior classes in tap, ballet and freestyle run between 5pm and 6pm.
- Senior classes, where pupils progress further through the grading system with the addition of ballet pointe work, takes place between 6pm and 8.30pm.
People interested in finding out more can drop-in and see a session taking place on June 16 between 4pm and 8.30pm.
