Lichfield District council has won a sixth gold award in a row for the way it manages a database of addresses.

The GeoPlace Exemplar award is given to local authorities for data excellence.

Councillor Chris Spruce, Cabinet member for finance and democracy, said: “This is fantastic news.

“It’s very rewarding when quality is recognised by the experts and it’s a great achievement to win this award six years running. Well done to the team.”
