Lichfield drinkers will get a helping hand to the city’s pubs after a new map was created.
A London Underground-style guide to Lichfield public houses has been produced by Lichfield Round Table.
The group shared the map on social networks and have had plenty of encouraging responses from locals – including the city’s MP Michael Fabricant.
A spokesperson for Lichfield Round Table explained: “It was originally an idea from the Round Table National Vice President Steve Glaister, who created one for Bewdley. This took off with Christchurch Round Table following suit and now us.
“It is all a bit of good fun and it has really engaged the local community and looks like its going viral.
“We’re not sure if we could cover the whole map in one evening mind – it would probably be a weekend job.”
