Lichfield racer Ant Whorton-Eales enjoyed a great debut at Knockhill as he claimed his fifth podium of the season.
The SV Racing driver now sits fifth in the Courier Connections Renault UK Clio Cup and third in the graduate competition.
“I’ve never raced at Knockhill before, never been to even watch, so to turn up on Friday and be fastest in free practice one was a bit of a shock.
“We’re definitely quick and I’m happy with second in the first race.”
An eventful second race of the weekend saw Whorton-Eales yo-yo between fourth and fifth, eventually claiming the higher position.
