Lichfield fundraisers on the lookout for new ways to lend a hand

Published:

People are being asked to help a Lichfield fundraising group decide which community projects to support during the next 12 months.

Lichfield Round Table is known for its work to raise more than £11,000 each Christmas with its Santa sleigh collection, but it also takes part in a number of other projects, with members donating their time and expertise to good causes.

The group’s chairman, David Nuttall, said: “In addition to our fundraising for local causes and supporting events such as the Lichfield Bower, Fuse Festival and the Lichfield Half Marathon, Round Table also gets involved in local community projects when required.

“This can involve anything from DIY and restoration projects to granting ‘wishes’ for seriously ill children and less-able members of our community.

“We are looking for more such projects to contribute to in the coming year.”

Suggestions can be sent to community@lichfieldroundtable.co.uk.
