A LICHFIELD group is hosting a singing workshop.
Lichfield Cathedral Chorus will host the event at The Coton Centre in Tamworth from 10.30am to 5pm on 13th June.
A spokesperson said:
"We will be working on Bach's fabulous Magnificat. Music director Ben Lamb will be guiding us through the music and providing helpful singing tips along the way.
"The event is open to all singers, but is probably best suited to those with some experience of choral singing, however familiarity of the work is not essential.
"There will also be support from members of the chorus who have started learning the music in recent weeks.
"What will make this an extra special day is that in the afternoon there will be a professional string quartet providing the accompaniment along with a chamber organist."
