Lichfield Ladies Circle join forces with business to raise charity cash

Published:

Members of Lichfield Ladies Circle have launched their 2015 Community Challenge fundraising drive.

The initiative will see selected businesses creating a one-off offer with the money raised going to their chosen local good cause.

Ruth Curry, past National President of the Ladies Circle, said: “This is a great fundraising idea in which all parties will benefit.

“The local businesses will gain publicity and potential new customers, while the local charities will benefit from the offers created and the generosity of Lichfield residents taking up the offers.”

Restaurant Qmin started the challenge in January with a two course menu deal that raised £100 for St Giles, while Francescos hair salon have just completed a cut and blow deal for February.

The offer for March by Ansons Solicitirs is aptly named ‘Pop in before you pop off’ where they will be offering a will deal on March 28 with the proceeds going to Staffordshire Blood Bikes.

Future months during 2015 will see offers from the likes of Le Reve, Margheri, Turners Autos, St John’s House and Mark Zaccaria Photography.

For more details, follow Lichfield Ladies Circle on Twitter.

All the offers and news will be promoted on the dedicated Facebook page ‘Lichfield Ladies Circle Community Challenge’ and through the Twitter account @ladiescircle106.
