A Zumba session starts on November 5 and will run each week from 10.30am to 11.15am. The class features upbeat music and offers a full body workout for all abilities.

Fighting Fit starts on November 9 and will run each week from 7pm to 8pm. The sessions are non-contact and are a mix of aerobics, circuit training and combat style workouts.

Finally, Fitball starts on November 14 and will run each week from 6.15pm to 7pm. The exercise ball fitness programme is a workout that focuses on strength, coordination and balance.

Phil Kelly, King Edward VI Leisure Centre’s Manager, said: “Now it’s getting colder, it’s a good time to start a class to keep you warm and get you fit, ready for the Christmas party season.

“Our programme of classes has something for everyone, whether you want to tone up or have a high energy work out.”

Each of the sessions cost £4 for members and £5 for non members. To book, please call King Edward VI Leisure Centre on 01543 308782.
